Along with the holiday decor in the mall, the main floor was decorated with live mannequins who modeled fashions from the Galleria’s popular stores, such as Ann Taylor and Banana Republic. If that was not enough excitement, along with the opening of Bloomindale’s, the Galleria opened up 32 other new stores, including, BCBG Max Azaria, Kitson and Silver Jeans Co.
It was a big event for the city of Glendale, and one that had a big price tag as well. While no numbers were shared, filed reports from last year put costs in the 57 million-dollar neighborhood. That is a huge price tag that will hopefully pay off.
